The Mechanics’ Summer Folk Tale Festival is coming to MIROnline.
Our special guest editor will be the Dylan Thomas Prize 2019 shortlistee and author of ‘Folk’ Zoe Gilbert.
She’ll be selecting five folk tales based on the theme ‘Summer’ to be published on MIROnline over June and July.
Zoe will also be selecting one overall winner who will receive:
– A signed copy of ‘Folk’.
– Your story illustrated to accompany publication on the site.
– A free place on a MIR Masterclass of your choosing.
All pieces selected for publication will have their story illustrated.
What we are after: A short-form Folk Tale. A submission is defined as: a short story of up to 3,000 words.
